Burndownthehouse.com is a bold move by Pacific Beverages to capture more of the take-home alcohol market. The website gives consumers access to premium beers, as well as useful accessories like plastic cups and a community of online retailers.
This extended community provide ice, meat and dj services, with more vendors expected to join in coming months.
Firestarter set out to architect a website with a highly visual e-commerce experience. Instead of product appearing small, packaging is deliberately large so labels are easy to read. Brands featured for purchase on the website include Stella Artois, Hoegaarden, San Miguel, Leffe, Red Bull and recently Appletiser.
The site was designed with plenty of white space to make the purchase experience hassle-free, and future additions of features easy to integrate. Prior to building the site, Firestarter did online research using Google Keywords and discovered when it came to online purchase of beer, consumers in Singapore were more interested in ‘kegs’ than specific brands.
During the launch of the burndownthehouse.com, a landing page included a button to measure response from promotions run in FHM Magazine.
